So, in this case, try downloading the updates again and re-install them using

The best part of the Microsoft office is that it allows you to repair the programs if they are not functioning as they are supposed to. And to do that, all you need to do is open the control panel > programs > Programs and Features> Microsoft Office > Change
Select Quick Repair or Online Repair. Once the repair is done try restarting your system and open the Outlook.

Sometimes the third party addins can brick your outlook. If in case your outlook keeps crashing and you think this may be one of the reason, all you need to do is open the outlook in safe mode and to do that,

- In the Run dialog box, enter outlook.exe /safe and select OK.
- If Windows can’t find Outlook.exe /safe, try using the full path to Outlook ( C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OfficeXX, where XX is the version number).
- In the Choose Profile window, choose the default Outlook option and select OK to open that profile.
- Click File Options Add–ins.
- Select COM Add–ins from the Manage drop-down menu.
- Click Go.
- In the COM Add–Ins dialog box, remove the checkmark beside the add-in you want to deactivate.
