So, in this series of tutorials, we will explore Slide Master in PowerPoint.
What is the Slide Master?
Slide Master is the actual template of any presentation to make it easy for you just consider it as the back-end of a program. Whatever change you make in the slide master reflects on the front of the slides. Here is where you create slide layouts, add the elements such as picture placeholders, content, tables, backgrounds, etc.
How to open or access Slide Master within PowerPoint?
Follow these steps to access slide master within PowerPoint.
Open PowerPoint and select a blank presentation. Right below the slide, you will find a slide view option. Hold the shift key and double click on the Normal view icon.
Once you’ve done that you will see the slide master open.
In the slide master, you will find slide pane filled with slide layouts and on the ribbon, you will find options that you can execute such as Insert Layout, Themes, Font colors, Effects, Slide Size, Background styles and more. In our upcoming tutorial, we will explore the options in the slide master menu.
